The Run Comparison Assessment is a specialized evaluation designed to analyze the behavior of reported defects over time by comparing two or more in-line inspection (ILI) data sets. This analysis supports the definition of reliable re-assessment intervals and provides a deeper understanding of the degradation mechanisms affecting the pipeline system.

This assessment is conducted in accordance with international standards and industry best practices, and it is a key component in long-term integrity planning.

SCOPE OF SERVICE:

1. ILI Alignment: Matching of welds and features between inspection runs to ensure accurate correlation of anomalies. 

2. Corrosion Growth Rate (CGR) assessment: Calculation of: 

• Local CGR for individual defects 

• Probabilistic CGR analysis at a defined confidence level (80% or 90%, depending on client preference) 

3. Anomaly Behavior Over Time: Identification of accelerated corrosion zones, stable features, and high-risk areas based on defect evolution.
